BMW's new Neue Klasse design language will not only define their upcoming electric vehicles but will also influence the aesthetics of internal combustion engine (ICE) models as confirmed by the company's design director. E46/E39 days was peak BMW design. Mostly down hill since then and the past few years with the massive grills has been downright ugly

It's like they can't pick between tiny mustache looking grille or biggggg mustache grille. Both look terrible.

I'm one of the few people who doesn't hate BMW's current large grille. I don't love it either, but it wouldn't keep me from buying a new M4 (like I could afford one in the first place, lol). But neither design above looks good to me. If I had to choose one, I'd go with the one on the left. The grille itself on the car on the right looks okay, but that dip in the hood ruins the looks.

I care more about driving experience than looks or the badge and honestly I’m not sure if I’d like the current M3/M4, they’re so big and heavy. I’d certainly test drive one and see how I like it and if I enjoy it the looks wouldn’t stop me from buying it although the price tag would.
