Just received a notice on my carfax profile about a new recall notice on my 22 civic. Didn't seem to be up on NHTSA website yet. Any know what this is about? I saw a screenshot on reddit claiming TSB for this is 24-119

What trims does this affect? Or is it all of them, last time I went into my dealer, nothing came up

I received the same thing. Called my dealership this morning and they haven't received the replacement parts yet. They asked me to call back next week to set up an appointment. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with had no information for me.

I've inputted my VIN numerous times on Honda's website and NHTSA's, just to say that there are no outstanding recalls on my vehicle. It was only a call to Honda's customer service that they confirmed my car was part of the recall.

I talked to my dealer, and they're aware. But since it's so recent, they obviously do not have parts.

Though what worries me is they say that if the EPS gearbox is affected, the front subframe needs to be removed for the remedy... or the service advisor I talked to does not know what he's talking about.

Edit: I should note that I haven't experienced "sticky" steering, but I only have over 5000 miles on my car.

This is ridiculous.
2021-09-09 : First confirmation of the problem.
2022-11-23 : Investigation starts, ALMOST 14 MONTHS LATER!
2023-07-19 : Worm wheel mold process was revised.
2024-01-26 : Honda receives market quality report for the revised worm wheel mold process.
2024-03-09 : Honda receives market quality report and continued to investigate the issue.
2024-08-20 : Honda’s investigation of more recently returned parts shows things got WORSE.
2024-09-05 : Honda considers safety recall.
2024-09-26 : Honda decides to initiate safety recall.

Are DEI hires designing, investigating, and coming up with "solutions?"

Get used to it, we are going the way of idiocracy as a society.
