Anyone seen or already installed these nice exterior lighting and interior ambient lighting options?

The Japanese website has a pdf file with an overview of all factory options:

Too bad none of the trims here in Europe and in North America (I think) offer this door ambient light strip:

As far as I know, its only for Japan and Australia.
(but in Australia they got f*cked over on almost everything else...)

Definitely Asia-spec specific unfortunately, would love to have the puddle light and ambient lighting on our cars too
No, those are options we will get in Europe too, except for the ambient door light strip, thats a Japan and Australian (maybe new zealand too) feature only.

The newly presented Type R does however seem to have it stock for all markets tho.

made an order at Blackhawk in Japan, so imported the parts, installed by my dealer, took the dealer more than two days to install

i made the hole myself for the light, the cable was installed by the dealer since it required the whole inside trim to be removed from the trunk

I go to Japan every couple years, my Japanese wife goes every year (I actually went to the Honda corporate offices in Tokyo last time, it was very cool). Anyway...if I bought some of these lighting parts from a Honda dealer there, do you think they would be plug and play-ish for my US bought 2022 Touring? Thanks.

sorry to say, but that depends on the willingnes of your dealer.

I got the manual from Blackhawk on pdf, he has em all on his Google Drive account.
If you want, I can share the link to those manuals.

So if you have the kits , and your dealer is reluctant, you can either try it yourself or go to another car specialist who is handy at this stuff.

A handy mechanic can do this for sure, but they might be put off by the duration of it all....

What made it interesting for me was, for the installation of my Premium Light Pack, big parts of the interior already had to go out....and so it was 'easier' to install the puddle light kit, where more or less the same parts had to come out...

But in the US, as far as I know, there is no Premium Light Pack available.
So you might have a bigger chanche with DIY mechanics, than with official Honda dealerships, is my guess....

That said, after two days of work, they forgot to plug in the glovebox light lol...had to do that myself after figuring out where's the plug lol
Not to mention, the installer made a mess of my gloss black plastic covers 😑 so they didnt even take the effort to clean everything off after the install.
Guess they didnt deem it worthy after so much time of installing....
