I see just about everyone who has upgraded their intercooler is running the PRL. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the PLM setup. I believe you can get the intercooler and charge pipes for around $600, which is definitely on the more affordable side and may be perfect for my needs, since I don't plan on racing my Si too much. I'm willing to get the PRL, and am even loosely considering the 27WON setup, but I'm weighing out my options out to see how much I want to spend for what will effectively be a cosmetic mod with benefits. However I don't want to put something on that will tear up in a year or two, or even hurt performance (I still wanna beat the local Camrys onto the highway). Any input is appreciated!

Noted and noted. That's exactly why I asked!

And honestly, I felt 600 for a whole kit was too good to be true. And I know that often times if it seems that way, it is 😂
Thank you guys!
For a full kit, definitely. I'm personally waiting to see what Mishimoto comes out with down the line. They finally got an 11th Gen SI and are working on R&D. I had their intercooler on my 2016 10th Gen and that thing was massive and kept everything nice and cool. It was also CARB legal too, so I'm curious to know if they'll go for the exemption on this one as well.

I think the reason it had to be a kit was because the design was not directly compatible with the factory charge pipes.

Mishimoto would be cool! I still gotta save up a bit of money anyway, so maybe once I get to that point I'll have more options available.
