New here so I don't know if a thread for this already exists but wanted to talk about my almost purchase.

I wanted to purchase the MikStore kit to give a charging ability and also an AC/Heat option for my rear seats, when I went to purchase, shipping was estimated at $96 (for Ohio), regardless of what price the kit wanted for it. So, frankly, if the kit was not something you wanted or didn't work as you thought it would (for the Si you have you could out a large part of your center console), don't even think about it, the shipping alone should dissuade you. Along with the multiple reports that returns were not eligible.

I want to leave this thread open for other possibilities that people find, I know that other models have the existing vents and ports, and if it's able to be put into our car I am glad to hear this. This is an open discussion and please post part numbers/pictures if possible.

I don't want another person to spend 260$ just to end up having to absolutely mangle another 160$ part of their own car, just to find out it doesn't work or isn't to their satisfaction.

I am also willing to make a cad file for a 3d printable option for this, it will take me a good amount of time but based on what was shown, frankly, it doesn't seem that difficult to do (I'm an electrical engineer, but hey, I know how to use cad software XD and also fk these websites selling you 3d printed objects that you can print on your own). The only issue with this idea is the actual vent fascia plate and also the vent angling portion of the trim, that might have to be bought separately, again, this all depends on what the response to this is and if we can find parts for the vents

I do recall at least one thread on here discussing that kit. It's a cool upgrade and I believe the parts in that kit are OEM (??) as Civics in other markets have a rear vent option.
I personally don't see a need to install the kit as I don't ever have passengers in my back seat.

I have some parts on order for this. I purchased the kit through eBay, but I have also purchased some other Honda parts to replace the armrest console box. This should have the vent space under near it. I'm waiting on the parts to come in to do the install and a write up with part numbers. I have the USB panel for sale in the parts for sale area if you are just looking to install rear USB ports. I have 2 little monsters and want to do the AC install. Temps here are 3 digits during the summer.

all USDM cars (excluding the Type R) will require cutting the center console for the splitter tube to pass through.
So, by that rationale, we just need to use the Type R center console?
