I bought my wife a new Civic, this is our fifth Honda and third Civic. Her last Civic had 224,000 miles on it when I sold it.

The first thing that we will do is tint the windows and then, in time as funds allow, it will get the full HPD kit including wheels.

We’ve only had it for three weeks and have already put 1,800 miles on it, it’s very fun to drive and I love the leather steering wheel. I only wish that Honda offered it in AWD.

How do I access the “I” (information)? I got a low fuel warning and pushed the home button to clear it and shorty after that I accelerated very fast to get through traffic and something square and orange or yellow was on the dash for a moment but disappeared before I could read it. I’m sure it was about my speed but I want to see it. By the way I filled up shortly after and the “I” turned off but I still want to know what was that warning when I accelerated abruptly.

Award (at 3 months and 4 days): first scratch*

* really my fault for not having my car in the garage because I was cleaning out my toolbox and I didn’t pull my HR-V forward enough, so I told my wife that I would fix it but for her not to rely on the camera alone but to still use the mirrors

No and according to them Honda and the insurance company has promised to build a new building in its place. It was like that in 2020 when I bought my HR-V there.

There is a high school near to the dealership but the university is a few miles away.

I don’t like how the HPD kit doesn’t have anything on the rear bumper like it does on the front, so I’m going to get these which also has a bit of (generation 10) Si style to it as well.

I took the car for a 350+ mile round trip, for dinner and shopping, and ran it hard for the first time in interstate traffic. The performance of the stock 1.5T in the EX as great. I found that the handling was good too. A great performance from a completely stock car. It was uneventful except for spotting a Honda City from Mexico.

I got another HPD goody today and am still collecting them. It’s been slow going, mostly due to funds and waiting to find a good sale or low price. I got the front spoilers brand new for a surprisingly low price of $60 online. There are plenty of replicas at very low prices but I want OEM.

It’s shining bright, looking right, dynamite and out of sight.

I dropped $2,750 on a set of four front NSX 19x8.5” wheels, Merry Christmas to my car. Now I have to get a $480 set of custom made Bonoss 5x114.3 to 5x120 adapters to mount them. I haven’t decided on tires yet. When it’s all said and done it will probably be close to $4,500 for everything.

Well, it’s been fun but I’m now on financial probation from the wife after disclosing the amount of automotive items and tools that I purchased in the past year. It gets expensive with three cars and a full service (home) garage. I never should have let her see the receipts from our accountant.
