CEL is on for evap Leak was going to take it in to the dealer for diagnostic testing today. I have read on the forums that it could be the capless gas cap shutter. I have a PRL HVI installed, would ya'll think the dealership will say thats what's causing the evap leak? Should I put the oem intake back on before taking it on? No clue if the intake has anything to do with the Evap system.

The PRL intake won't trigger an evap code (If the intake was installed incorrectly and say you weren't getting enough air/fuel mix you'd probably get a lean/rich CEL code). Evap code is for the emission (Evaporation) side of things. If your dealer is an asshole I guess they might say something about it but it should not be related to the code.

Update: Dealership said the PRL HVI intake was the cause of the problem. "Every test points to the intake". They said in order to do further diagnostic to put the stock airbox on but the mechanic said the aftermarket intake is causing it. 🤦‍♂️

You could hit up PRL but they're going to tell you they aren't the issue, the part is plug and play without triggering CELs. I've had mine on a couple weeks, no issues, it isn't the intake. The only thing it could trigger is the MAF sensor, I'd just check over your work and make sure all your hoses are tight and the sensor is all set but it should really NOT be your intake

Mine threw this today. P0455 and P0456 randomly after starting. I have KTuner so I cleaned around the capless door and pushed it in and out a few times to make sure it sealed and cleared the codes. Hasn't come back so far after driving for about 50km after? Hopefully that's the end of that.
