(contact Honda at 800-999-1009 if you have this issue)
I have an 11th gen 2022 civic sport sedan. In short: when the air vent setting is put on head/feet, virtually zero air comes out of the head vent (like you set it to windshield/feet). I bought it brand new, and also previously had a AC leak issue fixed at same dealer I took it to for this.
The dealership agreed and confirmed that what I described is correct, BUT ALSO that MULTIPLE tested cars for reference (same year and models) did the exact same thing. I was advised to contact American Honda Corporate (number at top) about this due to nothing the dealership could "fix" due to it being a designed problem.
When I called AHC and described the issue, and after put in hold a few times, I was told that this "is not a design issue/problem and it is a FEATURE"...really? It is designed to not work? Then the guy started questioning the validity of the Honda trained service workers and that there is no chance of Honda fixing the problem due to it being a "feature" or doing a buy-back.
So now I am starting the process of starting the Lemon Law claims (submitting written offer of a buy-back, and then for arbitration if not taken back).
I urge you all to see if your cars have this issue as well, and if so, contact the number at the top, tell them the vent issue, and for them to fix their problem that is not a feature. I have my documents from their dealer workers who urged me to go this route, but others have to as well.
