Cracked paint on my 2022 Honda Civic Sport

I discovered a fine line Crack going all the way across the hood, and down below.
It absolutely makes me sick. I have treated my car as a baby since the day I bought it. It is washed every week, and there was nothing there until we discovered this morning. I just want to cry my eyes out.

Anyone else have cracked paint?

I hope you are wrong, but it might be something as simple as adhesive from the vehicle delivery plastic that they use on our cars. Metal and paint cracking is very rare, more like something you would see on a plastic bumper part that suffers some form of impact.

I seen something similar on my new 2022 WRX the other day, and I was able to rub it out. It was just some stubborn adhesive line that they didn't remove during the dealer prep / PDI process. It looked like a crack or a big scratch, but I was able to rub it out.

If it is a crack you will able to feel it with your finger nail. Hopefully it isn't as serious as you first think. If it is a real crack then it is a dealer warranty item, and barring any event that may have caused damage to the hood while in your possession. But as I said that would be very rare. Keep us posted.
