What wiper blades are you guys buying to replace the stock ones? I just wasted $60 on wiper blades that dont even fit the wiper arm. I bought bosch icons 18 and 26 inch OE as specified by the autozone employee since its not a J hook but none of the provided attachments work. Thanks in advance

Bosch Icons OE will work , you just need to modify the one clip they provide, it looks very much like the Honda clip but it has two ears at the end that need to be clipped off so it can slide all the way into the wiper arm. I've run them all winter long. There are no wipers specified to fit the Honda Civic, but Icons will work if you don't mind clipping off the ends of the clip. It is very easy to do as it is just plastic, simply cut off the two ends or ears as I call them.

Other brands will work also if you get the OE fitment, and they have the same clips that need to be trimmed in order to work. I know it isn't for everyone but it can be done if you don't mind a slight mod.

@kennyatshop On many of our cars, the Honda wiper blades leave about 20% of the windshield unwiped in cold weather. We're all looking for alternatives.
I agree i just thought because they made it so you can replace the rubber you couldn't change out the entire balde to something else, i hate the new wipers, when you put them up in the air overnight if its going to snows, the holes where the sprayers are fill up with snow and ice

I have a BMW with wipers that "stow" hidden. I've yet to have a need to park with wipers off the windshield.

To be honest, I grew up in Buffalo, and even with all that snow, nobody there parks with their blades raised.
I only do that when freezing rain is in the forecast , maybe 2-3 times a season. I don't do it for typical snow storms.

we measure snow in feet here not inches lol so I always put them up in snow snows then they don't get stuck to the window and covered in ice, just make its easier for me when i'm leaving for work at-530am

The last time they said we were getting "snow" everything shutdown that day and then the roads were just iced. 🤣 I miss it but glad I don't have to deal with it.

I just came here looking for recommendations because the ones that came with the car streak often and skip patches if the windshield isn't perfectly clean.

Thanks. I will try this

Haven't seen any posts about aftermarket wiper blades but lots of complaints about the OEM. Picked up RainX that allegedly fit and guess what? They do! There are eight total choices with the same adapters to fit. Install is about removing 2 adaptor fittings, then straight in.

@ST404 than you very much! How are the new blades working for you?
They are very solid. They glide across the windshield more confidently with no chatter, and they do clear the windshield more effectively than the OEM. Really impressed with them.

I just bought some Rain-x Quantums but they don't fit, no extra adapters as noted above and made for J hooks, I think that I got some old stock, I will check the part number and end up taking them back, maybe they can order me the right parts. this sucks.

Yeah, the US has 8 RainX Blades for Gen 11 Civic.
Canada states it has 3. Here are the part numbers. (I would have posted them earlier but their Blade Finder function was not operating)
