My car was delivered in December with summer tires, so I had a great excuse to get a second set of wheels. Stock wheels got Continental DWS all-seasons and the summers go on these babies. Very happy with how they came out. Love the bronze color on my black car, and they are about 7lbs lighter than stock per wheel. It's actually noticeable too. Car is a little zippier and the turn in is definitely lighter and more responsive.

They are Konig Ampliform 18x8.5 +45 - about the only wheel I could find that had a concave face in a reasonable offset under 9" wide. I wanted the concave look but didn't want to screw up the handling with a low offset or stretch the tires on wide wheels. These Konigs fit the bill perfectly!

Looks nice, I like the colour. Nice choice. I see the wheel specs in the post, everything looks good, I'm looking for wheels and finding the right offset can be tricky depending on what wheel you want. The weight savings is excellent, good choice, weight is a big deal on these cars.

Is there any reason you didn't go with a 9" width? I think if you went 9" wide and lowered the car a bit, even with a +35, you would have a nice fit. I was just curious if that was your concern, the offset and the stance it would create.

Going for that Instagram-perfect stance just requires way too many sacrifices for me. I did a ton of research and concluded that anything less than 45 offset would really start to screw with handling (look up "scrub radius"). Also, something like 9" +35 would have a ton of poke at stock ride height so I'd have to lower it. And that would open up a whole can of worms. I want to keep my ground clearance for road trips and outdoor adventures - bad roads, unpaved roads, snow, etc. I also don't want to deal with a harsher ride, rubbing, or adjusting camber, or going to bigger tires. Basically once you go past 8.5" +45 you start making some serious sacrifices in other areas. Yes, it might look a little cooler, but definitely not worth it for me.

That said, I think it looks pretty mean the way it is. Pretty damn close to flush with the fender, and it has that sweet concave face.

Makes sense... My only issue in life is that the enkei RPF1 in anything other than 9"+ wide just doesn't look right... the RPF1 in 18x9 only comes in +35 but the face of the wheel is totally different than the 18x8.5... and seeing that you're also looking for concavity, it makes a big difference

what tire size

You swayed me to Konigs haha. Just decided on Konig Hypergrams in 17x8 with +35 offset. Will go with 235/45 in either Yokahama Advans sport or Michelin pilot Sport all season 4’s. Should drop roughly 10lb or more each corner

This should keep near identical wheel/tire diameter and add a bit of width

Shopping around for wheels atm, If I want to stick as close as possible to stock, is 18x8 +40 going to fit the bill? What is my range on the offset and width if I plan to keep the stock Good Year Allseasons?
I just picked up some 18 x8 , 40 offset rims , they are Fast Wheels - FC-04 in titanium colour. Flow formed wheels weighing just under 19 lbs (stock are approx 32 ?) , so decent weight savings. I am running the stock factory rubber from my Si and these wheels will do just fine. Canadian wheels, I bought mine from partsengine.ca , free shipping and 8-10% discount may still apply, canadawheels.ca also sells them . Great wheel at a great price, the weight savings will be something you can feel in terms of performance.

Thanks for the info man. Thinking of picking up some Enkei TFRs to replace the OEM wheels. Are you selling those OEM wheels off?
